Set One: Day 1 of 30

Im breaking this down and taking it piece by piece. I was able to wake up this morning and go right back to eating good, healthy foods. Ive decided Im putting away my scale and will only weigh in once every 10 days. My starting weight is 230.8. I did weigh today with no intent other than to see where my starting number would be. I wouldnt be mad if I gained. I wouldnt be happy if I lost [because if I lost, I did it with pizza]. I was just getting the starting point number.
Im not sure how many “sets” I will need, but I will change up the gym routine every 30 days. That way my body wont get used to anything. I think weighing in only 3 times this next 30 days will help me a lot too. Im not dieting. Im not Dukaning. Im not Atkinsing. Im eating “normal”. Im gonna eat what a person who is thinking about losing some lbs would eat. So am I gonna have any ice cream? Nope. But am I gonna count anything? Nope! I need to focus on the objective; Get HEALTHY. Numbers will just throw me off. Im gonna gym like I used to, to make me feel better mentally and physically. And after 30 days of no counting, I will see where Im at. Stress can add to the reasons for not losing. So why stress numbers that I cant change that day.
I was planning on making a collage to show everyone where I used to be, then when I lost, then after I gained 80lbs with Ayden, and where I am now. Im photoshop stupid, but a buddy offered to help, so I just might have to do that!
It seems like a giant yo yo of weights that I have been! But I know when I was working out daily, eating healthy, and taking care of myself, thats when I felt the best I ever have in my life.
Food today: Made some fish with my “bread crumbs” aka Special K Protein Plus crushed up. My Magic Bullet is amazing for that haha. And I had some eggs&egg whites with 2 slices of american cheese. I also had a string cheese for a snack. Thats enough cheese for the day haha, but the string cheese was quick and easy. I think chicken or turkey burgers for dinner. Ive been drinking my gallon of green tea lemonade! And some waters on the side.

I don’t do a program either girl and it hasn’t hindered my results. I just research the food that I eat, and go with what I think is going to give me the best results. I DO count calories, but that’s because food can be very decietful and I want to make sure I know exactly how much im putting in my body so that if I gain one week or steadily gain over the course of a couple of months than I can refer back to my food logs and find out what went wrong. but counting calories doesn’t bother me because i’m used to it now. I think you’ll find that it will be pretty pleasant to not stick to a certain program and just make mindful choices. I also want to do a collage/video of some sort and post it to you tube or something lol. I think that is a major cute idea.
I’m with bojangles. I do count my calories but i’m not on any set “diet” lol I found this to be very freeing!! lol

great job sticking with it and not calling it a diet
so glad to see you feeling much better. this year i gave up counting calories too. ive done it for so many years and it use to really control me. i wasnt enjoying my food, only what it was adding to my day. i know what portions look like now and i know what is right and wrong to eat. i want to learn to get healthy and exercise with it to lose. not measuring and counting for the rest of time. good luck with your new plan….you got this.
Yay to feeling better, and I think your new approach sounds uber good and healthy, your so right that stress can play a HUGE factor,so don’t sweat it do what you gotta do the end! Keep it up girl, kick some butt this week, I know you will
yay! you can do it!! i dont follow anything either.. I count cals and keep my daily caloric intake under a certain amount and work out. good luck.. and remember if you feel good its working!!
all in all any change in diet for the good ALWAYS has results. I will be for you the whole way! YOOOOOU CANNN DOOO ITTTT
i agree with the whole weighing in thing, im going to try to not weigh myself as much, I thought about just doing wednesdays but if i see no results ill be pissed off lol.

You have a great plan and you know what your doing so I’m sure you will succeed. I’m glad that your feeling better today that bug you got seems pretty nasty.
im with you, im gave up counting calories xD and just eat whatever i have here, but in the right portion lol.
